For 40 years the Kentucky Wood Expo has been a staple to the wood products industry. The next Expo is scheduled for September 15 & 16, 2023 at Masterson Station Park in Lexington, KY. A number of manufacturers exhibit portable sawmill machines as well as other equipment. The Real American Hardwood Promotion (logo attached) - The Real American Hardwood Promotion (RAC) is an initiative being undertaken by the state, regional and national hardwood associations to promote the use of hardwoods across all industry segments. The Kentucky Forest Industries Association (KFIA) represents the wood products industry, landowners and forestry interests in Kentucky. The Association promotes the economic welfare and interests of the wood products industry through a number of programs and work with regulatory agencies advocating for forestry in the legislative process at the state and national level.
