Exhibitor Information

 Kentucky Wood Expo Exhibitors 

The chainsaw exhibit areas, rolling stock and other large equipment will be on sod or pavement. Smaller exhibits will be inside the Exposition Center. Special parking permits will be issued to exhibitors. Twenty-four hour security will be provided from Thursday evening through Sunday evening. Exhibitors packets will be available for pickup on Thursday, September 15 at the Show Headquarters.

SET-UP
Show dates are Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17. The Show opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p. m. on Saturday. Exhibitors can begin set-up on Monday, September 12. Set-up help will be available throughout the week. A loader with operator will be available from Monday, September 12 through Sunday, September 18. Loading and unloading will be conducted on a first-come-first-served basis with no loader operation allowed after 6:00 p.m. any day. All exhibits must be in place Thursday night by 6:00 p.m. There will be absolutely no driving on the grounds during the show.

POWER
110 volts/440 (3 phase) power will be available if requested on your application. Limited 440 generator power (spaces 20 - 23) is provided for those exhibitors who wish to run pallet or similar equipment. No 220 power will be available. Exhibitors will be expected to furnish extension cords and/or cable. A minimum of 150 feet of cord for each machine hooked to 440 and 50 feet of cord for 110.

DEMONSTRATION AREA
Exhibitors who plan to operate any heavy equipment must be placed in the spaces so designated for safety purposes. You must have a competent employee monitoring each piece of equipment you will be operating and a separate demonstration area will be available for exhibitor use.

NAME BADGES
After Friday, you will be charged admission to the grounds if you do not have your badge. NO EXCEPTIONS. You receive five badges with each exhibit space. Additional badges are available for $5 each. Please include a list of employees who will working the exhibit so badges can be made in advance.

SHIPPING
Deivery to the show should not be made until Monday, September 12. Shipping arrangements after the show are the exhibitor's responsibility. EXPO PERSONNEL ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR EQUIPMENT AFTER COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES LEAVE TOWN.

WOOD
Exhibitors will be charged $50 per cord of wood, which will total 8 - 10 foot logs, mixed hardwoods. Please specify on the agreement if you need materials other than logs. Deadline: Wednesday, September 16. Wood and materials will be supplied to booths prior to the opening of the show each day.

CLEAN UP
Exhibitors are responsible for helping clean up their space. Paper, extra materials, magazines, etc. should be thrown into trash cans or dumpsters. Lumber, slabs and pallets should be stacked in a pile within booth space. Bags of sawdust from machines should be placed on a pallet in the booth. Chips, sawdust and other debris should be raked up, bagged and set on pallets in the booth.

TABLES
Inside Exhibit Fee includes two chairs and one draped 8' table per inside space. Outside Exhibits will have two chairs and one 8' table per 50' of space. Outside tables can be draped for an additional charge. A limited number of extra 8' tables are available for $15 each.

Silent Auction to benefit Log A Load for Kids- The Expo will also be conducting a silent auction. The auction will benefit Log a Load for Kids with all money going to the Kentucky Children's hospital. The auction will be open to anyone interested in bidding. We invite everyone to participate in the auction and donate an item to Log a Load for Kids. To participate in donations contact either Kevin Tudor, Domtar Paper Company  859/524-6444, email: kevin.tudor@domtar.com or Mervin Strader, Strader Bros.LLC, at 270/265-0266, email: straderbros@hotmail.com.
